At 3:45 p.m. Sunday, April 20, Kevin Hohman of Zionsville reported fraud. The police report states his debit card was used fraudulently at the Denny’s on Michigan Road between 5:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. that day.
At 12:11 a.m. Sunday, April 20, Denis Pallas of Zionsville was arrested for criminal recklessness, and Andrew Sullivan of Zionsville was arrested for criminal mischief. The police report states ZPD Officer Doug Gauthier was driving west on Bloor Lane and Palla was driving the opposite way. Sullivan was in the back seat of the vehicle and threw an egg out the window and hit the police vehicle. Gauthier turned his vehicle around and after a short pursuit, Palla stopped at Terrace Drive and Mulberry Street. The remaining eggs were thrown out of the vehicle during the pursuit.
At 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 19, Susan Arnold of Zionsville reported a vehicle leaving the scene of an accident that occurred between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on the 0 block of South Main Street and in which her vehicle had been hit. The estimated damage is $1,000.
At 3:49 p.m. Saturday, April 19, John Diercks of Azionaqua reported burglary. The police report states two shed doors were damaged on the 4000 block of Willow Road. The estimated loss is $400.
At 1:17 p.m. Friday, April 18, Sergio Jinenez of Indianapolis was arrested for driving with a suspended license at Promontory Trail and Creekside Pass.
At 12:03 p.m. Friday, April 18, Alice Winegar of National City Bank reported theft. The police report states a teller is suspected of taking $320 from her money drawer between April 11 and April 17.
At 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 17, Janet Sheehan of Zionsville reported theft. The police report states approximately $1,500 of cash was stolen between April 11 and April 16 from the 0 block of Shannon Road.
At 6:56 a.m. Thursday, April 17, Tom Jobe of Lawn Life reported theft. The police report states landscaping tools were stolen from vehicles on the 5000 block of West 106th Street between 6 p.m. April 16 and 6:56 a.m. April 17. The estimated loss is $2,000.
At 3:54 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, Juan Sanchez of Indianapolis was arrested for driving with a suspended license and false reporting at the Flagstar Bank at Ford Road and State Road 334.
At 9:42 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, Cindy Klump from Zionsville Meadows reported a theft from the property that occurred between 8 a.m. April 14 and 9:42 a.m. April 16. At 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, Mark Graybiel reported theft from the same facility. The police report states a gold wedding ring was removed from resident Mary Delamater’s finger without her knowledge.
At 1:51 p.m. Monday, April 14, Joann Walters of Indianapolis reported a fraud of her identity that occurred between Jan. 9 and April 14.
In accident news, at 3:20 p.m. Friday, April 18, Scott Small, 42, of Avon was driving a white 2006 Ford F350, and David Abbitt, 43, of Zionsville was driving a silver 1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, and Elizabeth Hagerma, 35, of Westfield was driving a blue 2002 Toyota HIG. The police report states Small was turning from U.S. 421 onto Willow Road. He did not see Abbitt or Hagerma in the other lane, and struck the side of Abbitt’s vehicle. Hagerma was behind Abbitt and could not stop in time, striking Abbitt’s vehicle. The estimated damage is $5,001 to $10,000. None of the drivers or occupants reported any injuries and all 3 vehicles were driveable.
At 4:57 p.m. Friday, March 28, Janet Himsel, 66, of Danville was driving a silver 2004 Buick LCF, and Margot Hineman-Maynard, 23, of Lebanon was driving a maroon 2002 Dodge ISE. The police report states Hineman-Maynard was turning out of the east exit of Boone Village, and struck Himsel’s vehicle heading west on State Road 334. The estimated damage is $10,011 to $25,000.
