Police reports for May 7

At 6:49 a.m. Monday, May 5, Milton Veliz of Indianapolis was arrested for driving while never receiving a license. The police report states he was stopped for a speeding on the 1000 block of Mulberry Street.
At 5:24 p.m. Sunday, May 4, Wendy Sue Ellis of Kokomo was arrested for driving with a suspended license. The police report states she was stopped for a traffic violation on the 11700 block of North Michigan Road. She was taken to the Boone County Jail.
At 4:46 p.m. Saturday, May 3, Shannon Groh of Zionsville was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and public intoxication. The police report states the vehicle was stopped in the travel portion of the 500 block of South Zionsville Road. She was transported to Boone County Jail.
At 3:29 p.m. Saturday, May 3, Luis Aguilar of Indianapolis was arrested for operating a vehicle while never receiving a license. The police report states he was stopped for speeding on the 5300 block of West 96th Street. He was taken to Boone County Jail.
At 7 a.m. Saturday, May 3, Crystal Fidler of Lafayette reported theft. The police report states a corporate briefcase with employee information inside was stolen between 9 p.m. May 2 and 7 a.m. May 3 from the 1900 block of Williams Glen Boulevard.
At 7 a.m. Saturday, May 3, ZPD Officer Tessa Potts reported theft. The police report states an unidentified subject broke a front passenger window of a vehicle and stolen a GPS unit between 12:01 a.m. and 7 a.m. on the 2100 block of Williams Glen Boulevard. The estimated loss is $600.
At 1 p.m. Thursday, May 1, Jill Young of Just Marketing International reported theft. The police report states a license plate was removed between Feb. 1 and April 25 from a vehicle parked behind the business on the 10900 block of Bennett Parkway. The estimated loss is $210.
At 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, an anonymous caller reported criminal mischief. The police report states three juveniles wrote obscene messages and graphic pictures on playground equipment in the Village Walk Neighborhood between 6:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. They were released to their parents, and cleaned the equipment under the supervision of their parents.
At 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, Michael McQuinn of Zionsville reported theft. The police report states between 6:30 p.m. April 28 and 1:50 p.m. April 29 unidentified subjects stole two catalytic converters, a toolbox and stereo speakers from vehicles parked at A Quality Auto Repair on the 5400 block of West 96th Street.
At 6:35 a.m. Thursday, April 24, Dornale Alford of Indianapolis reported theft. The police report states a temporary license plate was removed between 12 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. from a vehicle on the 6100 block of West 96th Street.
In accident news, Keith Spencer, 52, of Zionsville was driving a white 2003 Ford Explorer, and Darlene Grant, 51, of Zionsville was driving a white 2000 Chevrolet Silverado. The police report states Spencer was in the left lane of the 11700 block of U.S. 421, and Grant was behind him. Spencer swerved into the right lane to avoid a piece of sod, and then attempted to make a left-hand turn into a parking lot. He turned in front of Grant and the front of Grant’s vehicle struck the side of Spencer’s vehicle. The estimated damage is $25,001 to $50,000.
