At 4:18 p.m. Sunday, June 29, Randall Stevens of Whitestown reported theft. The police report states a shotgun and an automatic rifle were stolen from a truck bed by juveniles at 4:18 p.m. at the 1400 block of Hunters Glen. According to the report, Stevens said one of the juveniles was in possession of alcohol.
At 6:05 p.m. Friday, June 27, Stanka Thatcher of Zionsville reported criminal recklessness that occurred between 5:50 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the 1400 block of Hunters Glen.
At 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 27, Marda Craig of Zionsville reported suspicious activity that occurred between 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the 500 block of W. Poplar Street.
At 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 21, Amber Way of Zionsville reported threats. The police report states an unidentified subject threatened her with laser light between 11:10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at the 5500 block of 106th Street.
At 10:20 p.m. Saturday, June 21, Phillip Wilson of Zionsville reported threats that occurred between 9:30 a.m. and 10:20 a.m. at the 100 block of Irongate Drive.
In accident news, at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, June 28, Corey Skomp, 17, of Noblesville was driving a silver 1999 Pontiac Grand Am. The police report states Skomp was driving northbound on Turkeyfoot Road and lost control of his vehicle, leaving the roadway to the east. After striking a tree and continuing into a wooded area, the vehicle came to rest approximately 150 feet from the roadway. The estimated damage is between $5,001 and $10,000.
At 10:20 p.m. Friday, June 27, Patrick Cross, 44, of Zionsville was driving a white 2008 BMW 750IL, and Susan Fowler, 46, of Zionsville was driving a red 2003 Ford Mustang. The police report states Cross was stopped at a traffic light at Willow Road and U.S. 421 facing westbound, and Fowler was traveling northbound on U.S. 421 preparing to turn right onto Willow Road. Fowler’s vehicle sideswiped Cross’s vehicle. Fowler was later determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol, was taken to the Boone County Jail, and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The estimated damage is between $1,001 and $2,500.
At 9:30 p.m. Friday, June 27, Joshua Kern, 20, of Zionsville was driving a red 2002 Honda Civic, and Ashley Conrad, 16, of Lebanon was driving a silver 1996 Toyota Four-Runner. The police report states Kern was stopping to make a left turn onto Irongate Drive from State Road 334, when he was rear-ended by Conrad. She stated she tried to stop when her vehicle slid into the back of Kern’s vehicle. The estimated damage is between $2,501 and $5,000.
At 3:37 p.m. Friday, June 27, Adeline Rowan, 16, of Zionsville was driving a white 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Gregory Garber, 18, of Zionsville was driving a 1995 Eagle Vision. The police report states Rowan was exiting a gas station at 200 S. Ford Road and turning north. Garber was sitting at the stop light, and was struck by Rowan. The estimated damage is between $2,501 and $5,000.
At 11:49 a.m. Friday, June 27, William Mossburg, 49, of Danville was driving a white 2007 Chevrolet SK1, and David Paul, 63, of Zionsville was driving a gray 2008 Nissan Altima. The police report states Mossburg was stopped behind Paul at a stop sign, trying to turn east onto Oak Street. Mossburg anticipated Paul to enter traffic, and pulled forward, but Paul did not enter traffic, causing Mossburg’s vehicle to collide with Paul’s vehicle. The estimated damage is between $1,001 and $2,500.
At 7:54 a.m. Saturday, June 21, Skye Lasley, 20, of Jamestown was driving a 2002 black Jeep Liberty. The police report states Lasley turned into the parking lot of 1225 W. Oak Street, did not turn sharply enough, and struck a parked vehicle owned by Arthur and Dawn Small of Zionsville. The estimated damage is between $2,501 and $5,000.
