Police reports for July 23

At 12:21 p.m. Saturday, July 19, John Williams of Zionsville reported criminal mischief at Lions Park, South Elm Street. The police report states upon arrival at the park, officers found a large set of bleachers-on-wheels in the riverbank and they had been put there between 11 p.m. July 18 and 2 a.m. July 19.
At 11:19 a.m. Saturday, July 19, James White of Zionsville reported theft in the 4000 block of Fieldmasters Drive. The police report states there was a theft of a computer and a camera between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m. on that date.
At 8:43 a.m. Saturday, July 19, James Voyles of Zionsville reported a vehicle leaving the scene at the intersection of Zionsville Road and 96th Street between 7:30 a.m. and 8:43 a.m. The police report states officers were dispatched to a hit-and-run accident at that location.
At 9:08 p.m. Thursday, July 17, Kellen A. Prough of Indianapolis was stopped for speeding in the 5500 block of West 96th Street, and was found to have a suspended license with a prior conviction. He was also found to be in possession of marijuana and was transported to Boone County Jail.
At 8:18 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, James Sylvester of Zionsville reported criminal mischief at Sylvester and Son in the 10000 block of Deandra Drive. The police report states the rear panel door on a vehicle would not close and criminal mischief was suspected. The estimated loss is $100.
At 12:34 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, theft was reported by Alan McCann of Indianapolis. The police report states that a wallet containing $351 and two credit cards was stolen from a vehicle in the 1300 block of James Court.
At 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at the intersection of Ford Road and Irishmans Run Lane, police stopped Henry Wilcox of Indianapolis for an equipment violation and found he was operating a vehicle without ever being licensed.
At 2:40 p.m. Monday, July 14, criminal mischief and theft were reported by Nathan Sylvester of Ridgeway Construction in the 10700 block of Deandra Drive. The police report states a trailer was broken into and unknown items were taken between 10:30 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. on that date. Also on that date, time and location, a business truck belonging to Sylvester and Son was broken into, according to a police report, and unknown items were also taken.
At 10:56 a.m. Monday, July 14, Lisa Santiesteban reported fraud in the theft of personal information. The police report states the fraud took place between 8 a.m. July 7 and 11:59 p.m. July 13 in the 500 block of West Oak Street. The estimated loss is $525.
At 9:30 a.m. Monday, July 14, Thomas Knapp of Indianapolis reported criminal mischief in the 1000 block of Deandra Drive. The police report states that two semi-trailer truck doors were damaged by person or persons attempting to break into the trailer. The trailer is owned by the Conner Group of Centerville, Ohio.
At 7:15 a.m. Monday, July 14, theft was reported by Cheryl Brown of Zionsville. The police report states that between 3 p.m. July 11 and 7 a.m. July 14, a laptop computer, two computer air cards, a computer mouse and a black leather case were stolen in the 4000 block of Summer Drive.
In accident news, at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, July 19, James H. Voyles, Jr., 65, of Zionsville was driving a red 2007 Ford Focus and traveling south on Zionsville Road when he came to the intersection of 96th Street. He stated he had the green light but another car came down 96th Street and through the red light and the two vehicles made contact. The other car continued on without stopping, but its rear bumper fell off and Voyles was able to give it to the police. He also said the car was red and gave police a license plate number, which they were unable to verify. Voyles was driving a rental vehicle while his was being worked on. The estimated damage is $5,001 to $10,000.
At 9:19 p.m. Monday, July 14, Paula Buisch, 38, of Zionsville was driving a white 2006 Jeep Commander as she exited a parking lot on West Oak Street and struck a light pole. The estimated damage is $750 to $10,00.
At 10:15 a.m. Monday, July 14, Michael Irk, Sr., 63, was driving a silver 2007 Honda Accord on Huntington Woods Drive when he looked down to change his radio station, ran off the road and hit a mailbox in the 1900 block of Huntington Woods Drive. The estimated damage is $2,500 to $5,000
