Police reports for Aug. 27

At 7:55 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25, Zionsville Police recovered a stolen vehicle. ZPD responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle in the 10700 block of South Andrade Drive, and it was determined to be stolen out of Brownsburg between Aug. 22 and Aug. 25.

At 7:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25, Jack Bannister of the Brickman Group in Zionsville reported theft. Two leaf blowers and three weedeaters were stolen from the company’s property in the 10700 block of South Andrade Drive between 3:30 p.m. Aug. 23 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 25.

At 7:01 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, Steven. W. Allison of Indianapolis was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Zionsville Police stopped him at the corner of Zionsville Road and 106th Street.

At 5:13 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, Joshua G. Fisher of Zionsville was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and public intoxication. He was stopped for reckless driving at the corner of Ford Road and Bloor Lane, and found to be intoxicated. He was taken to the Boone County Jail.

At 12:53 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, Kristine M. Hill of Zionsville reported theft. Jewelry and coins were stolen from her home between 7 a.m. Aug. 19 and 5 p.m. Aug. 22.

At 8:50 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, Melissa S. Roberts of Zionsville reported criminal mischief. The rear passenger side lens cover for the tail light on her vehicle was damaged in the 9700 block of Greenthread Drive between midnight and 8 a.m. that date.

At 2:03 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, three juveniles were arrested for possession of marijuana. Zionsville police made a traffic stop at the corner of State Road 334 and U.S. 421, and learned three juveniles in the car had marijuana. All three were arrested.

At 11:43 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, Timothy A. Isley of Zionsville reported theft. A wallet and sunglasses were stolen from his vehicle at Lions Park between 9 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. The estimated loss is $90.

At 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, Steve Wiley of Triple S Tire in Zionsville reported criminal mischief between 10:30 p.m. Aug. 19 and 6 a.m. Aug. 20.

At 8:50 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, Sonia Mendoza De-Leon of Lafayette was arrested for operating a vehicle while never licensed. She was stopped by Zionsville police at the corner of County Road 975 East and Buttondown Lane.

At 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, Dean Butner of the Gaylor Group reported theft. A hammer drill, saw, and rolls of wire were stolen in the 5100 block of 106th Street between 7 p.m. Aug. 19 and 6 a.m. Aug. 20.

At 7:43 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, Don Greemann of Excel Concrete in Zionsville reported theft. Numerous power tools were stolen from parked company trucks on the 10800 block of Deandra Drive between 6 p.m. Aug. 13 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 14.

At 8:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, Dan Reynolds of Zionsville reported theft. He reported items stolen on the 10700 block of Deandra Drive between 7 p.m. Aug. 17 and 6 a.m. Aug. 18.

In accident news, at 7:53 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, Jose Ferrer Salinas, 29, of Indianapolis was driving a red 1996 Volkswagen Jetta, and Ruthellen Wells, 25, of Brownsburg was driving a blue 2004 Jiangsu Jinjie motorcycle. The police report states Ferrer Salinas was traveling east on State Road 334 and attempting to turn left onto County Road 950 East. Wells was traveling west on S.R. 334 and Ferrer Salinas collided with her. Ferrer Salinas did not see Wells due to a vehicle in front of her turning right. The estimated damage is $25,000 to $50,000.

At 9:37 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, James Crow, 30, of Kirklin was driving a black 1996 Nissan KSX, and Vincent Phipps, 37, of Kokomo was driving a black 2007 Chevrolet Impala. Crow was stopped facing south on U.S. 421 at the intersection of Willow Road, and Phipps was approaching from behind. Phipps struck a ladder in Crow’s truck bed, damaging the hood of his vehicle and the cab of Crow’s vehicle. The estimated damage is $2,501 to $5,000.

At 7 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, Lauren Trepanier, 17, of Zionsville was driving a green 1998 Ford 15V, and Vivian Sheets, 56, of Lebanon was driving a school bus. Trepanier was stopped on Governors Lane and attempting to turn onto County Road 975 East. She did not see the bus as she pulled out and made contact, causing scratches on her passenger side bumper. There was no visible damage to the bus. The estimated damage is less than $750.

At 8:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, Larry McAllister, 58, of Indianapolis was driving a white 2006 Ford 3DC. McAllister was attempting to pull in front of a parked car owned by Barbara Kothe of Indianapolis, and his rear bumper became entangled with the parked vehicle’s front bumper causing scrapes and tears down both vehicles. The estimated damage is $750 to $1,000.
