Police reports for Sept. 24

At 9:37 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, Nichole Folta of the Movie Gallery in Zionsville reported theft. A Nintendo Wii game was stolen from the store in the 1200 block of West Oak Street between noon and 9 p.m. that day.The estimated loss is $49.99.

At 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, Joshua Kuklak of Zionsville reported theft. A suspect entered his car parked in his driveway in the 4000 block of Fieldmaster Drive between 10 p.m. and midnight Sept. 18 and stole a wallet containing credit cards and cash, four tennis rackets, two pairs of shoes, one pair of roller blades and one pair of ice skates. The estimated loss is $2,500.

At 1:27 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, Gene Sponseller of Zionsville reported theft. A suspect entered his home in the 4500 block of Winterspring Crescent between 3 a.m. Sept. 17 and 1:27 a.m. Sept. 19 and stole a diamond engagement ring. The estimated loss is $5,250.

At 1:10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, Andrea Terhorst of Zionsville was arrested for possession of alcohol by a minor. Zionsville police arrested Terhorst in the Boone Village Shopping Center parking lot for illegal possession and consumption of alcohol by a minor.

At 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, Benjamin Ziesmer of Zionsville reported criminal mischief. Ziesmer’s car was struck with eggs in the 1400 block of James Court between 9:30 p.m. July 15 and 8 a.m. July 16.

At 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, Patrick Carey of Zionsville was arrested for leaving the scene. Lesley Hunt of Zionsville reported a hit and run at the 300 block of North Third Street. Hunt stated someone hit her car while it was parked at the corner of Third Street and Linden Street.

At 8:59 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, Patrick Carey of Zionsville reported intimidation. Carey reported a neighbor threatened him in the 300 block of North First Street at 5 p.m.

At 7:52 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, Louise Bergmann of Zionsville reported burglary. Her home was illegally entered, and suspects stole antique silver flatware, a single strand white pearl necklace, a gold chain with black pearl pendant, pearl earrings, platinum earrings, a gold cross on chain and prescription medication between 8:15 p.m. Sept. 14 and 8 a.m. Sept. 15.

In accident news, at 7:18 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, Travis Vess, 19, of Noblesville was driving a white 1999 F60 Freightliner, and Eugene Konradi, 54, of Zionsville was driving a gray 2003 Lexus ES300. Vess was traveling west on 96th Street, slowing to turn left onto Center Drive as Konradi was approaching eastbound on 96th Street. Vess told police he believed Konradi had passed his location when he began his turn, but struck the rear driver’s side of Konradi’s vehicle. The estimated damage is between $2,501 and $5,000.

At 5:41 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, Ruth Eskilson, 65, of Zionsville was driving a black 2005 Mercury Montego, and Charles Duffy, 51, of Indianapolis was driving a blue 2004 Ford F150. Eskilson was traveling west on Hawthorne Street when Duffy ran a stop sign traveling south on Second Street, causing Eskilson to run into him. Duffy said he did not see the stop sign at Hawthorne Street. The estimated damage is between $5,001 and $10,000.

At 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, Bradford Graves, 31, of Park City, Ky. was driving a white 2001 Peterbilt semi-tractor, and Frederick McGuire, 56, of Carmel was driving a blue 2001 Chevrolet Venture. Graves was traveling north on Zionsville Road attempting to turn left onto Technology Center Drive, but had to approach from the right lane to avoid a curb. McGuire also was attempting to turn left, and did not notice a left turn signal on the trailer attached to Graves’ vehicle, striking the tire on the semi’s trailer. A witness said both vehicles had a left turn signal on.
