Police Reports from April 9, 2014

The following people, with name, age, address, charge and arresting agency, were booked into the Boone County Jail; charges are preliminary and may be changed subject to review by the Boone County Prosecutor’s Office: At 6:23 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, Charles Alan Roberts, 20, of Indianapolis, was arrested for possession of paraphernalia. At 12:27 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, Aaron Alexander Martin, 24, of Zionsville, was arrested for theft of a vehicle. At 2:10 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, Roland Ball, 69, of Indianapolis, was arrested for physical battery and confinement. The Zionsville Police Department made the following runs: At 12:46 p.m. Monday, March 30, police responded to the intersection of 99th Street and Michigan Road on a property damage accident and an altercation between the two drivers. At 8:37 p.m. Monday, March 30, police responded to the 700 block of West Oak Street on a theft. At 5:10 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, police responded to the 300 block of South Ninth Street on drug activity. At 9:38 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, police responded to the 400 block of Benderfield Drive on a theft. At 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, police responded to the 200 block of West Cedar Street on an animal complaint. Dogs were attacking a raccoon in caller’s yard, and caller could not get the dogs to separate from the raccoon. The raccoon was destroyed. At 3:09 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, police responded to the intersection of Parkway Drive and Brendon Way on kids reported in a ditch. At 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, police responded to the intersection of Bentley and Corniche drives on a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle had been there before, and officers advised caller to call back when it came back. At 5:03 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, police responded to Sixth and Oak streets on a suspicious person. Caller reported a man wearing a suit and a woman carrying an umbrella were acting strange and asked caller where all the nice houses were. At 12:15 p.m. Thursday, April 3, police responded to the 7100 block of Mayflower Park Drive on a theft. At 7:21 p.m. Thursday, April 3, police responded to the intersection of 96th Street and Ford Road on a stuck vehicle. At 5:05 a.m. Friday, April 4, police responded to the intersection of Zionsville Road and 96th Street on a drunk person. At 7:58 a.m. Friday, April 4, police responded to the 600 block of Karen Drive on an injured deer. At 12:54 p.m. Friday, April 4, police responded to the intersection of West 106th Street and Bennett Parkway on a theft. At 1:36 p.m. Friday, April 4, police responded to Zionsville Community High School, 1000 Mulberry St., on a juvenile problem. At 10:46 p.m. Friday, April 4, police responded to the 5600 block of West 96th Street on a suspicious vehicle. At 11:43 p.m. Friday, April 4, police responded to Union Elementary School, 11750 E CR 300 S, on a suspicious vehicle. At 9:37 a.m. Saturday, April 5, police responded to the 500 block of West Sycamore Street on a theft. At 1:24 p.m. Saturday, April 5, police responded to the 200 block of North Main Street on a suspicious vehicle. At 2:26 p.m. Saturday, April 5, police responded to the 1500 block of Continental Drive on suspicious activity. At 5:47 p.m. Saturday, April 5, police responded to the intersection of Continental and Corniche drives on a suspicious person. At 9:04 p.m. Saturday, April 5, police responded to the intersection of Kevin and James drives on a domestic disturbance. At 2:28 a.m. Sunday, April 6, police responded to Lions Park on a suspicious vehicle. At 5:48 p.m. Sunday, April 6, police responded to the 600 block of Meadow Lane on an animal complaint. A raccoon was sick and injured, and caller wanted it put down because there were kids in the area. At 8 p.m. Sunday, April 6, police responded to the 8900 block of Mossy Rock Drive on suspicious activity. A car went slowly through the area. Then caller's and neighbor's garage codes wouldn't work.
