The Zionsville boys volleyball team put it together when they needed to Thursday, March 20, night, topping Lutheran 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-20).
The win improved the Eagles, ranked 10th, to 3-2 on the season.
"I am really happy with the performance," Zionsville head coach Matthew Nance said. "We have about 10 kids right now fighting for starting spots, and it is exciting to see them push themselves and push the team to be better every single player."
All three games followed similar scripts.
The teams traded 6-7 point rallies through the beginning of each game and eventually found themselves tied at 18.
Every game the Eagles went on at least a 3-0 run immediately following the tie to grab control of the game and were able to finish.
