— The Zionsville boys and girls cross country teams both finished in the middle of the pack Saturday morning, Sept. 29, at the Hoosier Crossroads Meet.
The boys finished in fourth place with a team score of 105.
Westfield won the meet with a score of 45.
“This was a good end to our regular season,” Zionsville head coach Gabe Porras said in an email. “We feel we have put ourselves in a good position for our state tournament run.”
Mason Herhusky was the first Eagle to finish with a 14th-place finish in a time of 16:19.6. Adam Corya placed 16th in a time of 16:25.1.
Both boys were named all-conference.
Max Gernhard was the third Zionsville runner to finish, placing 21st in a time of 16:32.5 and Ryan Cash came in 13 seconds later in 25th.
