The Lady Eagles were victorious in both contests, topping Penn High School 10-8 in the morning, than South Bend St. Joseph’s 9-2 in the afternoon to improve to 3-2 on the season.

They got just that, with goalie Ben Gould making a save in the final seconds to preserve a 5-4 win against Libertyville (Ill.) on Friday, March 21.

Last year, the Eagles advanced to the state semifinals before losing to Carmel. Head coach Matt Garvey said that he has liked the effort he has seen from the team in the couple of weeks they have been together.
