  • Local teams have strong showing at Battle Ground The Zionsville boys golf teams had a good showing at the tough Lafayette Jefferson Invitational Saturday, May 31 at Battle Ground. In a field that featured six ranked teams, the fourth-ranked Eagles placed third with a 315.

  • Boys lacrosse season comes to a close The Zionsville boys lacrosse team saw its season come to an end in the state semifinal for the second-straight season on May 23. The Cathedral Irish erased a halftime deficit and topped Zionsville 9-7 to advance to the state title game.

Zionsville placed all five positions in the top-4 of their respective brackets and ran away with the team title.

After winning the Sollman Invite Saturday, May 17, at Trophy Club, an event that featured 10 ranked teams, the Eagles place second in the just-as-tough HCC Meet on May 19, which featured five ranked teams in the toughest conference in the state.
