• Animal Adventure Series: Salamanders — 1 p.m. Friday, March 27 for ages 3 to 6, with a parent. Meet at the library for storytime fun and then walk to the Nature Center to learn about the real animals.

• Knitting 102 — 4 p.m. Monday, March 30, ages 8-12. Learn the purl stitch. Bring size 8 knitting needles. We’ll provide the yarn.

• Paws to Read — 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, ages 6-10. Share a book with a furry four-legged friend from TheraPets of Indiana. Register for your 15 minutes.



Market Day offers

Dessert Days

Market Day is offering a special promotion during March: buy any of the 10 featured desserts and extra profits will go to the Zionsville Band and Orchestra programs at ZCHS.

Every dessert sold will help reach the funding goal; a bonus insulated bag will be given to any customer purchasing three or more featured items.

Selected desserts include French silk pie, strawberry cheesecake, carrot cake and apple and cherry pies.

Visit www.marketday.com for this month’s offerings. Flyers are available at Zionsville schools and the Hussey-Mayfield library. Order forms are due to the library by Wednesday, March 18; online orders must be placed by 11 p.m. that night.

Library slates annual dinner and board

meeting

The Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library will have its annual report dinner, a program and a regular library board meeting Thursday, March 19 at Zionsville United Methodist Church, 9644 Whitestown Road. The board meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. immediately following the dinner and is open to the public.



Caregiver support group to meet

The first meeting of a Caregivers Support Group will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 19 at Boone County Senior Services, Inc., 515 Crown Point Drive, Lebanon.
