Tickets are $15 and a tour booklet and directions to each participating home are included. They are available at the museum, 225 W. Hawthorne St., and from guild members. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Extension Homemakers seek quilts for show

The Boone County Extension Homemakers are making plans for a Quilt Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25, in the Witham Health Services Pavilion at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds. Needed for display are new or antique quilts, wall hangings, and quilted clothing. Registration is required and is due by April 17. Information and forms are available at area libraries, the Boone County Extension office, at www.ibccn.org/ces/ or by calling the Boone County Extension Office at (765) 482-0750.



Zionsville Newcomers and Friends Coffee

The ladies of the Zionsville Newcomers and Friends Club are inviting newcomers and other interested individuals to come to the home of Carol Gambrel at 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 27. Coffee will be served and visitors may stay for the entire time or just pop in anytime between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 am.

Zionsville Anti-Mini Marathon offered in May

The Zionsville Anti-Mini Marathon will be begin at 7:25 a.m. Saturday, May 2, at the picnic table next to the parking lot at Nancy Burton Park.

Runners may choose to run one loop (3.1 miles), two loops (6.2 miles), 3 loops (9.3 miles) or the whole 4+ loops (13.1 miles). The course is a beautiful tree-lined dirt trail through Nancy Burton and Starkey parks.

There is no registration or entry fee. Just show up and run. There are no aid stations (although you may bring your own water, Gatorade etc. and visit it every 3.1 miles at the picnic table). Park behind Zionsville Town Hall and walk south on the rail trail to the starting line. If it rains, it will be muddy.
