Z’Friends slate luncheon

The Z’Friends ladies social group will meet for lunch Thursday, Nov. 20, at LA Cafe in Whitestown. A carpool will leave the Marsh parking lot in Boone Village at 11:30 a.m. Call Diane for reservations or carpooling at 733-2980.



Witham Health Services offers loans to medical professionals

The Witham Health Services Foundation is offering Medical Professional Loans to applicants who are planning to enter, or are currently enrolled in, college and plan to become a medical professional. The $2,000 ($1,000 per semester) loans are extended to students pursuing a degree in a medical profession. Applicants must be legal residents of Boone County and financial need is not a factor in the loan awards. Selection of loan recipients will be based primarily on the employment needs of Witham Health Services.

As payment for the loan, the students agree to work at Witham Health Services for at least one year after completing their program of study, or they may repay the loan with interest. The loan is intended to assist with tuition, books and related expenses. The loan is limited to four years of full-time study or less. Loan applications are due Nov. 20 will be reviewed in December. Applications may be obtained by calling Witham Health Services Foundation at (765) 485-8112.



Lebanon Follies

holiday show on tap

The Lebanon Follies, a traditional pre-holiday show, is slated for 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 21 and 22, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23 at the Lebanon High School auditorium, 510 Essex Drive, Lebanon. This year’s show, “Abracadabra,” concerns a small-town magician who is upstaged by an out-of-town magician who may not have the town’s best interests at heart. Tickets are $12 for adults ($10 in advance); $8 for senior citizens, $5 for students and may be purchased at the Lebanon Public Library, 104 E. Washington St., several other Lebanon locations or online at www.lebanonfollies.com.
