Community calendar for Nov. 19

(Continued)

At 8 p.m. that night, community members are invited to gather in the Hussey-Mayfield Fifth Street parking lot and step off on a community carol sing through the Village. Join your friends and neighbors to sing your holiday favorites and entertain Village residents.

Recycle telephone books

Recycle old phone books instead of throwing them out. Telephone book recycling will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at Zionsville Christian Church, 120 N. Ninth St. Members of Boy Scout Troop No. 358 will be on hand to help unload phone books and magazines. Call Laura Gunderman at 873-9729 for questions or more information.

Z’ville Tour of Lights on tap

Enjoy the Zionsville Tour of Lights from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, beginning at Zionsville Meadows, 675 S. Ford Road. The 30- to 45-minute tour is free and open to all ages. Contact Amy Lacy at 733-3868 or alacy@sbcglobal.net for more information.

The deadline for Community Calendar announcements is 5 p.m. Fridays for the following week’s publication. Boone County-related announcements will run at least once, and may run additional times, if space provides. If a specific date for the announcement to run is preferred, it should be so noted.
