Community calendar for Dec. 10

Witham Hospital offers events

The following events will take place at Witham Health Services, 2605 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. All community education classes meet in the Denger Conference Room.

• Holiday party — 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, in the VIP Dining Room. For members of all hospital support groups. Bring a side dish or dessert and R.S.V.P. to MaryBeth at (765) 485-8120.

• Blood Drive — 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11

• Diabetic Education — 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Dec. 15 and 22.

• Congestive Heart Failure Management — 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays, Dec. 10 and 17 and Tuesday, Dec. 23.

• Childbirth Education — 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, Dec. 11 and 18 and Monday, Dec. 22; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13; and 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday Dec. 28.

• Newborn Care — 6:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 17.



Arts and Study Club to meet

The Village Arts and Study Club will meet at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12. Suzanne Oden will host the meeting. Maureen Buskirk of the Purdue Co-op Extension of Boone County will speak. An auction will also take place. Call Nancy Kuper at 873-4712 for more information.

offers activities

The SullivanMunce Cultural Center, 225 W. Hawthorne St., will have several events this month. Call the center at 873-4900 or visit www.sullivanmunce.org for more information.

• Dollhouse Tea Party — 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12. Bring a favorite doll or stuffed animal for a dollhouse-sized tea party. Come decorate a dollhouse-sized cookie and have a sip of tea. Ages 3 to 5 with an adult. Free admission; advanced registration requested.

• Dollhouse Tree Decorating — 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20. Celebrate the first day of vacation by joining us to make a holiday tree for your own dollhouse. Crafts will be provided.

Library announces

The Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library, 250 N. Fifth St., has a number of upcoming events. Registration is required for each children’s class and some adult programs. Call 873-3149 to register.
