Green to have

book reading

Author Josh Green will read from his book, “Dirtyville Rhapsodies,” from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at Le Dolce Vita Patisserie, 10 S. Main St. The Terre Haute native was a journalist in Boone County before moving to Georgia to work. His book is a collection of short stories inspired by his time as a crime reporter. “Dirtyville Rhapsodies” will be available for $15, cash only, and Green will be autographing copies.

KidzArt registration open

KidzArt, an art education program for children grades first through fourth, is accepting registration for the fall classes.

Classes are held from 3:35 p.m. to 4:35 p.m. every Tuesday at Stonegate Elementary; Thursday at Union Elementary; and Friday at Pleasant View. Classes begin the week of Monday, Sept. 30.

Applications accepted for banquet

The Zionsville Great Banquet Community is accepting applications for the fall banquets.

The Great Banquet is a three-day event with guests living and studying together in a time of singing, prayer and discussion. The weekend is designed for those wanting to strengthen their spiritual life, have a better understanding of prayer, and seek to know Jesus.

The Men’s Great Banquet will be from Thursday, Oct. 3, through Sunday, Oct. 6. The Women’s Great Banquet will be from Thursday, Oct. 17, through Sunday, Oct. 20. The banquets will be held at Zionsville Presbyterian Church, 4775 W. 116th St.

Bible study at Fellowship

Habits of the Heart, a women’s community Bible study, will study the books of Ezra and Nehemiah this year.

The study offers a morning session that begins at 9:15 a.m. every Wednesday at Zionsville Fellowship Church, 9090 E. Indiana 334. The group will meet each Wednesday and include a children’s program for children ages 2 months through kindergarten.
