Story-time at Black Dog Books
Children are invited to hear Christmas stories at Black Dog Books, 115 S. Main St.
The story-time will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursdays, Dec. 13 and 20, and Saturdays, Dec. 15 and 22.

The Lebanon Public Library, 104 E. Washington St., Lebanon, will host a 1912 Boone County Christmas and Victorian Christmas tea at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14.
Guests will enjoy an afternoon tea while learning about what was taking place in the world, state and town 100 years ago.
Guests must preregister by Friday, Dec. 7, for the free event. Space is limited to 30 guests.

Christmas on the Farm slated
The Fifth Annual Christmas on the Farm will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Traders Point Creamery, 9101 Moore Road.
Enjoy sleigh-hayrides, music, caroling, craft-making and the Green Market that will feature holiday gifts and stocking stuffers.
Take in the live Christmas tree and winter greenery over a cup of organic, 100 percent grass-fed eggnog, hot chocolate and an a la carte menu.

The Zion Nature Center offers the following upcoming events:
• Nature Ornaments — 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, Dec. 15 and 22, and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays, Dec. 2, 16 and 23. Create nature inspired holiday ornaments. Craft fees range from 50 cents to $3.
• “Frost-Free the Snowman” — 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, ages 7 and older. Drop in to create a no-melt snowman using a gourd and other natural materials. Cost is $3, and all supplies are included.
• Holidays are for the birds — 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23. Create a winter treat for our feathered friends. Cost is $2.
