Registration open for Spanish classes

Early bird registration is open for Learn Another Language, Inc., a before-school Spanish program.

The kindergarten through sixth-grade program meets Mondays through Thursdays in the Zionsville elementary and middle schools.

Registration opens for sheriff's camp

The Boone County Sheriffs Office has announced the 35th Annual Indiana Sheriffs Youth Leadership Camp.

The camp will be held in June and July. The first session will be June 10-13 at Pine Creek Camp in Pine Village, and the second session will be July 8-10 at Waycross Episcopal Camp in Morgantown.

The camp is a program provided by the Indiana Sheriffs' Association for boys and girls who are in the seventh or eighth grade and interested in learning more about a career in law enforcement. The camp provides a meaningful experience and relationship with other campers from throughout the state and sheriff officers who serve as counselors and instructors.

Register for Chamber events

The Chamber will host emerging professionals from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, at the Golf Club of Indiana.

The Chamber also is accepting reservations for its second Golf Outing, scheduled for Thursday, June 12, at the Golf Club of Indiana.

Senior Services offers activities

• Lunch and Learn -- noon to 1 p.m. Friday, May 23, in the Zionsville Town Hall Community Room, 1100 W. Oak St. Lisa Cangany will present the program "Sun Safety." Lunch, which is free to the first 30 registrants, will be provided by Zionsville Meadows.
