ZUMC offers

prayer time

Zionsville United Methodist Church, 9644 Whitestown Road, invites everyone from the community to take time to have a moment of prayer in the sanctuary.

The prayer times are from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays, Nov. 19 and 26.

Toastmasters Club to meet

The Zionsville Toastmasters Club will meet from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays, Nov. 19 and 26, at Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library, 250 N. Fifth St.

The club provides affordable communication and leadership development in a supportive, learning and uplifting environment of peers.

ZPC offers parenting workshop

Zionsville Presbyterian Church, 4775 W. 116th St., will have a parenting workshop at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20.

The workshop, “Cooperation, Consequences, and Getting Your Way,” will focus on an instruction routine that works for toddlers to teens and building healthier relationships.

Enjoy breakfast with Santa

Tri Kappa of Zionsville will sponsor its annual Santa Breakfast Saturday, Dec. 1, at Stonegate Elementary, 7312 W. Stonegate Drive.

The breakfast will be at 8 a.m. and also 9:30 a.m.

Enjoy a hot breakfast, visit and get your picture taken with Santa, crafts, cake walk, live music and shop in the Christmas Market.

Cost is $8, and seating is limited. Reservations are due by Monday, Nov. 26.

New recruitment tool available

A new volunteer recruitment tool is available for non-profit organizations.

The United Way of Central Indiana will sponsor a workshop for HandsOn Connect from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the Lebanon Public Library, 104 E. Washington St.

People responsible for managing volunteer engagements in schools, faith-based organizations, non-profit agencies and service clubs are encouraged to attend.
