Boone County blood drives

• AT&T — 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 1602 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon.

• Boone County Courthouse — 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 307 Courthouse Square, Lebanon.

ZUMC offers

prayer time

Zionsville United Methodist Church, 9644 Whitestown Road, invites everyone from the community to take time to have a moment of prayer in the sanctuary.

The prayer times are from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26.

Toastmasters Club to meet

The Zionsville Toastmasters Club will meet from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library, 250 N. Fifth St.

The club provides affordable communication and leadership development in a supportive, learning and uplifting environment of peers.

New recruitment tool available

A new volunteer recruitment tool is available for non-profit organizations.

The United Way of Central Indiana will sponsor a workshop for HandsOn Connect from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the Lebanon Public Library, 104 E. Washington St.

People responsible for managing volunteer engagements in schools, faith-based organizations, non-profit agencies and service clubs are encouraged to attend.
