Slibeck-Hudson marry

— Lauren Slibeck married Gary Hudson on Saturday, July 30, 2011.

The couple was married at the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel, Calif., with the Rev. Dr. Kathy Sizer officiating. The reception followed at the same location.

Maid of honor was Loren Babirak and matron of honor was Christy Chance. Bridesmaids were Isabelle Hudson and Sophie Hudson, daughters of the groom. Flower girl was Celie Hudson, daughter of the groom. The best man was Richard Baylis, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Marc Michaelson, Dwight Poler and Stephen Ives, friends of the groom.

The couple honeymooned to Peloponnese, Greece. They will reside in Cincinnati.

Lauren is the daughter of Pam and Walt Slibeck of Zionsville. She is a 2004 graduate if Zionsville Community High School and a 2008 graduate of Butler University. She is a graduate student at Xavier University, studying to earn a master’s degree in early childhood education.

Garyis the son of Louise Hudson of Brunswick, Maine. He is a graduate of Waterville High School in Waterville, Maine, and Amherst College in Amherst, Mass. He is the former CEO of Mercury Instruments. He is president of Darkness to Light Cincinnati.
