Gordon Korman, author of “Schooled,” met with Zionsville West Middle School students Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 16. Korman spoke to the students about his writing and published works. His visit was the final activity in Zionsville West’s One Book, One School program, in which more than 900 copies of “Schooled” were given to students and staff at the school. Activities were planned throughout the months of October and November, including tai chi and tie-dying. School librarian Carrie Sanders presented Korman with a tie-died shirt after the speech. Korman said Sanders did a great job with the event and he was fortunate to speak to the students.
