Klittich named to dean’s list

Mena Klittich of Zionsville, a Materials Science and Engineering major, was recently named to the Michigan Technological University dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester.

To be included, students must achieve GPAs of 3.5 or higher.

to VU’s dean’s list

Jerron S. Glasson of Lebanon, majoring in Homeland Security and Public Safety, Aviation Maintenance Tech, was recently named to the Vincennes University dean’s list for fall 2010.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must complete at least 12 credit hours and achieve a GPA of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale.


Bennett named to Evansville dean’s list

Andrew Bennett of Zionsville, was recently named to the University of Evansville’s dean’s list.

Bennett made the dean’s list for academic achievements during the fall semester. To make the dean’s list, a student must earn at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

“Making the dean’s list is a tremendous accomplishment, and Andrew Bennett should be extremely proud,” said UE President Thomas A. Kazee. “The University of Evansville strives to hold its students to the highest academic standard, and by earning a place on the dean’s list, Bennett has gone above and beyond even those high expectations.”

Kristen Lambert of Lebanon, was recently named to the DePaul University dean’s list for the 2010 fall quarter.

To receive dean’s list commendation, full-time students must earn a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above on a four-point scale.


Students graduate from IWU

Eight students from Boone County were among the 1,740 students who earned degrees during graduation ceremonies Dec. 18 at Indiana Wesleyan University’s main campus in Marion.

Graduating were Cassandra Collins of Zionsville, Joseph Duvall of Lebanon, Holly Grimes of Jamestown, Megan Magoni of Zionsville, Paul Magoni of Zionsville, Christine Olney of Zionsville, Stacy Voorhis-George of Lebanon and Christopher Wallace of Whitestown.
