Local students on dean’s lists

Samuel Clapp of Zionsville was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester at Washington University in St. Louis. Clapp is enrolled in the university’s College of Arts and Sciences. To qualify for the dean's list in Arts and Sciences, students must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or above and be enrolled in at least 14 graded units.

Marian University has published its dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester. Students must have a GPA of at least 3.5 and be enrolled in 12 credit hours to be named to the list. Local students achieving dean’s list honors are: Emily Fon, Kristen Money, David Pelis, Kristina Watson and Jessica Williams of Zionsville; Nicholas Hyatt, Brittany Kenna and Alyson O’Conner of Lebanon; Jill Tonetti of Whitestown and Chelsea Young of Thorntown.



Boehle receives national honor

The National Society of High School Scholars announced that Zionsville Community High School student Kristin Boehle of Whitestown has been selected for membership. The Soceity recognizes top scholars and invites only those students who have achieved superior academic excellence.
