Sale planned at Zionsville Library

A mini market will greet library visitors Oct. 5-7.

Friends of the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library will offer their fall Book, Bake & Craft Sale from 5 p.m. Friday-5 p.m. Sunday, during normal library hours.

An impressive selection of delicious baked goods, handcrafted items made by skilled members, and a vast selection of books, audio books, movies, music and games will be available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit the library and are primarily used to fund free programs for all ages.

The event kicks off with a preview sale 5-7 p.m., Oct. 5. it will be the public’s first opportunity to browse shelves for the best selection, or to find unique and collectible items. Shoppers should use the library’s Fifth Street entrance. Admission is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children 11 and younger. Friends of the Library members receive free admission.

The sale will continue from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, with free admission.

Popular fiction, biographies, craft books, children’s books and movies will be available for purchase. Special bargain prices will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 and continue until the sale closes at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7. Shoppers may purchase a grocery bag full of books for $10 Saturday. The price is reduced to $5 Sunday.
