Notre Dame dean's list
Grayson A. Zinn, of Zionsville, has been named to the dean's list in the University of Notre Dame's First Year of Studies for outstanding scholarship during the Fall 2018 semester.
Students who achieve dean's honors at Notre Dame represent the top 30 percent of students in their college.
Iowa State dean's list
Approximately 9,752 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the fall semester 2018 dean's list.
Katie L. Sett, of Zionsville, who studies microbiology, has been named to the fall semester 2018 dean's list.
Students named to the dean's list must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.
Cedarville U dean's list
Cedarville University student Isaac Thomas of Zionsville, who is majoring in Industrial & Innov Design, was named to the Cedarville University dean's list for fall 2018. This recognition required Thomas to maintain a 3.5 grade point average for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.
Cedarville University student Laura Mihelc of Zionsville, majoring in communication, was named to the dean's honor list for fall 2018. This recognition required Mihelc to maintain a 3.75 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.
Franklin College president's list
Franklin College recently announced the names of students on the president's list for the 2018 fall semester. Students named to the president’s list have achieved academic distinction by earning a perfect 4.0 grade point average while completing a minimum of 12 credit hours during a regular semester.
Henry Methner Davidson, a freshman, son of Josh and Mary Davidson of Zionsville, was named to the president's list.
UO honor roll
Students from all 50 states, Washington, D.C., as well as 78 countries are listed on the University of Oklahoma Norman campus honor roll for the fall 2018 semester.
In most colleges, students must earn a minimum 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale to be included on the honor roll. Students in the College of Architecture are recognized with a 3.3 or better, and students in the College of Engineering are recognized with a 3.0 or better.
Katharine Grace Moran, Zionsville, is among the honor roll students are enrolled full time in at least 12 credit hours. Max David Ungar of Zionsville was named to the president's honor roll for earning a 4.0 grade point average.
Northeastern dean's list
Northeastern University recognizes students who distinguish themselves academically during the course of the school year. Zionsville resident Claire Winget, a Northeastern University student majoring in English, was recently named to the University’s dean’s list for the fall semester, which ended in December 2018.
To achieve the dean’s list distinction, students must carry a full program of at least four courses, have a quality point average of 3.5 or greater out of a possible 4.0 and carry no single grade lower than a C- during the course of their college career. Each student receives a letter of commendation and congratulation from their college dean.
UA dean's list
A total of 12,332 students enrolled during the 2018 fall term at The University of Alabama were named to the dean's list with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the president's list with an academic record of 4.0.
The UA dean's and president's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or to undergraduate students who take less than a full course load. Students on the list include:
Zionsville residents named to the dean's list are Oliver Rigg and Anna Slaughter. Zionsville residents named to the president's list are Zoe Edwards, Elise Pawlowski, Molly Wardlow and Cameron Weaver.
Wheaton dean's list
Wheaton College student Jacalyn Halderman of Zionsville was named to the dean's list for the fall semester.
To earn dean's list honors at Wheaton, an undergraduate student must carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.
UK dean's list
A record number of students made the University of Kentucky Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. The 7,412 students were recognized for their outstanding academic performance. The previous record was reached in fall 2016.
To make a dean’s list in one of the UK colleges, a student must earn a grade point average of 3.6 or higher and must have earned 12 credits or more in that semester, excluding credits earned in pass-fail classes.
Zionsville residents who made the dean's lists are Lindsey Paige Harlow, Elaine Christine May, Madison Novak and Jordyn Dawn Proctor.
U of M dean's list
Jacqueline Noel of Zionsville has been named to the College of Liberal Arts dean's list at the University of Minnesota for the fall semester of 2018. In order to be named to the dean's list, Noel had to complete 12 or more credits with a grade point average of 3.66 or higher.
Ball State dean's list
The dean's list for Ball State University, including out-of-state and international listings, recognizes undergraduates who earn at least a 3.5 grade-point average for 12 or more credits of graded course work during a semester or for 6 or more credits of graded course work during a summer term.

UW-Madison dean's list
Andrew Schaefer of Zionsville, College of Letters and Science, has been named to the dean's list. To be eligible for the dean's list, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester. Each university school or college sets its own grade point average requirements for students to be eligible to receive the distinction.
University of Dayton
Noah Chelovitz, Tyler Horton, Morgan Mateja and Ryan Serbin of Zionsville have been named to the University of Dayton dean's list for achieving a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester.
University of New Hampshire
Luke Doverspike of Zionsville has been named to the dean's list at the University of New Hampshire for earning high honors for the fall 2018 semester. Doverspike is majoring in business administration/marketing. Students named to the dean's list at the University of New Hampshire are students who have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance during a semester enrolled in a full-time course load (12 or more graded credits). Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.
Ball State graduates
