Boone Chamber names February Impact Award recipient

Ken’s Foods was named the Boone County Chamber of Commerce’s Community Impact Award winner for the month of February. Ken’s Foods has been nominated and selected as the Boone County Chamber Impact Award Recipient for the month of February.

The Chamber Impact Award recognizes a Boone County Chamber member who has made positive contributions to the Boone County community.

Making an impact in Boone County means making an impact in the lives of our neighbors, friends, co-workers and strangers. Ken’s Foods is committed to supporting the Boone County community and has donated to the community generously since opening in Lebanon in 2018.

The Ken’s Foods team has participated in numerous charity acts such as donating more than 34,600 pounds of product over the last year to Gleaners Food Bank of Central Indiana, raising more than $1,100 in donations for the Boone County Cancer Society, and partnering with the Boone County Mentoring Partnership to sponsor an event at Lebanon Seashore Waterpark that would allow the program to enjoy a day out together, free of charge.

Ken’s Foods team members are committed to strengthening Boone County’s workforce through their involvement with the Boone County Workforce Alliance, a collaborative partnership of the Boone County Chamber and Boone County Economic Development Corporation.
