Most government offices, and many private businesses, will be closed Monday, Sept. 2, in recognition of the Labor Day holiday.
All government offices, including Lebanon City Hall, Zionsville Town Hall, Whitestown Municipal Complex and the Boone County Courthouse are closed and Boone County schools will not be in session.
All Boone County libraries are also closed on Labor Day.
The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles closes all branches the Saturday before a Monday holiday. So the BMV is closed Aug. 31 and the branches aren’t open on Mondays.
All post offices are closed.
FedEx and UPS are closed except for critical deliveries.
Ray’s Trash will run all regularly scheduled routes on Monday with no delays, except for residents within Zionsville who receive Monday service. Those customers will have their trash picked up on Tuesday.
On a positive note, Seashore Memorial Water Park in Lebanon will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Labor Day. It will be the last day of the year for the pool at Memorial Park.
