The Boys & Girls Club of Boone County (BGCBoone) announces Indianapolis Motor Speedway President and Boone County resident Doug Boles as the keynote speaker for the third annual Be Great Breakfast. The event presented by Witham Health Services will be held Friday, April 26, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the BGCBoone Whitestown Unit, 5964 S. 700 E. Whitestown.

Ticket prices are $75 for adults and $50 for children under 12. Sponsor tables of 10 guests are available for $1,000. In October of 2018, the Lebanon Area Boys & Girls Club and the Boys & Girls Club of Zionsville merged to become the Boys & Girls Club of Boone County. The funds raised from this event support the 425 students who utilize the club before and after school each day in addition to the 3,000 annual members who enjoy the club’s summer camp and sports offering.

Club membership is $55 per year with the cost per member of $514. The Whitestown and Zionsville Units charge a $50 per semester per member after school fee. After fees, there is an average gap of $409 per member. Nearly half of the $1.56 million budget is raised through special events, corporate sponsors, grants and individual donors. An anonymous donor will match up to $10,000 for funds raised on the day of this event.

Rob Schein, BGCBoone President, said, “With Indianapolis being the focus of the racing world the month of May, we are thrilled to have Doug Boles be part of our event just before all of the track festivities kick off. Doug will give us an inside look at the ‘Greatest Spectacle in Racing’.”

Presenting sponsor is Witham Health Services and table sponsors and Parr Richey, Frandsen, Patterson Kruse LLP, Milliner & Associates, JLL, Krieg DeVault LLP, St. Francis In-the-Field Episcopal Church and Ernst & Young and bronze sponsors A.A. Huber & Sons and Church Church Hittle & Antrim. To learn about sponsorship opportunities, contact Katie Obremskey Reasoner, or 317-873-6670.
