COVID-19 has caused several institutions to close their doors to the public, if not close completely.

Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb is requiring all restaurants and bars to go to carry out and delivery only through the end of March.

Here is a partial list of closings and event cancellations or postponements. Unless otherwise noted, no makeup dates have been announced.

Town of Zionsville is providing temporary curbside parking spaces for restaurants during the pandemic to make it easier for customers to park to get their carry-out orders.

Zionsville Town Hall and governmental offices are closed until April 6, but town employees are working from home.

Zionsville government meetings are cancelled until April 6.

Boone County Senior Services are closed to activities for two weeks. Transit services and in-home services are still running. BCSSI Bookshelf, free books, can be made available for pick-up or delivery.

Witham Health Services has updated their visitor policy to strictly no visitors at this time, except for the Labor, Delivery and Post-Partum unit where one pre-determined visitor is allowed. Exceptions will be considered for special circumstances and end-of-life care.

The Boone County Courthouse will only be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds are closed. All events are postponed or canceled.

Boone REMC and Lebanon Utilities closed offices to the public. Both utilities have announced no disconnections until further notice.

Sugar Creek Arts Center in Thorntown will not be hosting any events and will be closed until further notice.

Beef & Boards Dinner Theater is canceling the upcoming performances of “Saturday Night Fever” and “An American in Paris.” Beef & Boards have closed their box office for the next two weeks based on CDC recommendation.

Key Bank branches are serving clients by drive-thru and in-lobby by appointment only. Appointments can be made online at keybank.com

PNC Bank is still full service, but is drive-thru only. For customers needing safe deposit box access, loan closings or other services that cannot be helped through the drive-thru, online, or by phone must make an appointment.

Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care and St. Pierre Funeral and Cremation Services are recording funeral services to place on loved one’s custom webpages for online viewing and online register books are also available. Graveside burial and cremation services will continue.

The Farmers Bank locations have suspended lobby access, except by appointment until further notice. Drive-thru and ATM access is still available.

Indianapolis Children’s Museum is closed until April 10. Families can still be involved with online activities and exhibits on the museum’s website.

The Zionsville chapter of Tri Kappa cancelled Speakeasy on Main that was scheduled for March 21.

State parks and inns are closed, but the parks are open.

Conner Prairie is closed now until March 30, including exhibits and all scheduled special events. They are planning to reopen March 31, but are continually evaluating and keeping up with CDC recommendations.

The American Legion’s 2020 Spring Conference scheduled for April 3-5 has been canceled.

NHRA drag racing has been suspending for thirty days. The series will resume to the normal schedule April 17-19 in Houston.

Lucas Oil Raceway has suspending racing activities for 30 days. Some events are canceled where some have been postponed. For a full list visit, lucasoilraceway.com.

Indy Eleven’s league has suspended games for at least thirty days. Indy Eleven will miss five games, but only one home game.

Indianapolis’ annual Firefighter convention is postponed to an undisclosed date at this time.

IndyCar series canceled all events before the month of May.

Simon Property has closed all malls until March 29.

Honda is shutting down their plants for at least a week. The closures involve a total of six plants located in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Thorntown Court hours are temporarily changed until April 30. There will be no trials held, all payments need to be made by mail and no members of the public will be allowed in the courtroom. Court staff will be available to answer questions via phone Tuesday and Thursday 6-8 p.m.

Huntington banks have closed their lobbies and are offering ATM transactions and drive-thru services.

All North Salem State Banks have their lobbies closed until further notice. Staff is still available to help by phone, email, drive-thru, and appointment.
