Memorial tablet dedicated by Masons
Francis Neidlinger honored by brothers in Masonic Lodge
On Tuesday evening, Jan. 20, Zionsville Lodge F. and A.M. assembled to do honor to the members who served their country during the world war but more particularly that one for whom a gold star adorns the center of the service flag of the lodge.
The program was short but impressive and in keeping with the purpose and spirit of the meeting.
After singing the Battle Hymn of the Republic by the entire assembly, Past Master W. H. Palmer in behalf of the committee which had been appointed to secure a suitable memorial, presented to the lodge a bronze tablet 22 by 14 inches in size which had been placed on the south wall of the lodge room and which was inscribed as follows:
In Memory of Bro. Francis. W. Neidlinger, Co. L. 50th Regt. Inf., 7th Div. U.S. A. Killed in Action, Preney Ridge France
