11:29 a.m. – Fraud reported, phone call made to his wife and she is upset, someone called claiming to be with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department, the individual stated he had a warrant for her arrest and demanded she go to her bank, pull money from her account and send it to them for safekeeping, officer spoke with individual on other line who stated his name is Tom Griffin, I advised him I was a police officer, then the caller started mocking me like a 10-year-old girl before calling the officer an obscenity and hanging up the phone, officer called back the number listed which did return to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department, officer spoke with investigation in reference to their number being used in a scam, they advised they would send out a press release, 6100 block of Burgin Drive, Whitestown, WPD

10:29 a.m. – Man claiming to be Deputy Carl Delaney with the BCSO told caller that she had active warrants for missing jury duty, advised her that she needed to go to Kroger to aisle 8 to get a certain gift card, officer advised her it was a scam, caller is from Zionsville, LPD

1:48 p.m. – In lobby of jail, wants to speak with a deputy about a fraud call, they said they were a deputy with the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, he wanted to make the department aware of the situation, 11500 block of Ridge Valley Court, Zionsville, BCSO

11:48 a.m. – Attorney calling on behalf of a client, got a message from an Officer Delanie saying his client had a warrant, believes it is a scam and would like to speak to an officer, 4500 block of Bayberry Lane, Zionsville, ZPD

11:11 a.m. – One in custody, arrest for suspended license and marijuana possession, 129 mile marker on Interstate 65 south bound, Whitestown, WPD

10:12 p.m. – Vehicle backed into parking space at warehouse under construction, tried to leave when officer shone light, slight odor of marijuana, driver released, 4900 block Anson Boulevard, Whitestown, WPD

11:32 a.m. – Caller says he will kill aggressive dog in his yard if it is not removed, will be out walking with his rifle, dispatch advised him to put his weapon away and await officer, spoke with dog owner about ongoing situation, 400 block E. Pierce Street, Whitestown, WPD

11:40 p.m. – Parents returned home to find that babysitter left 4- and 6-year-olds home alone and front door unlocked, suspect arrested, 7600 block W. Stonegate Drive, Zionsville, ZPD

10:36 p.m. – Caller says Domino’s Pizza cancelled her order and clerk threatened to call police if she didn’t leave the property, pizza issue resolved, 1400 block W. Oak Street, Zionsville, ZPD

10:41 p.m. – Five juveniles behaving suspiciously and fled when caller drove by, were on bicycles on trails, advised the trail/park is closed and they needed to go home, 6300 block Green Grass Lane, Whitestown, WPD

6:20 p.m. – Caller shaken up by suspicious person in vehicle, has a gun and knows how to use it, police talked with caller who said the person in the car may have been looking at furniture placed roadside near her home, 6700 block Wimbledon Drive, Zionsville, BCSO

11:54 a.m. – Woman believes someone attempted to scam her when they told her there was a warrant for her arrest, police checked, and there was no warrant, it was a scam, 1000 block Parkway Drive, Zionsville, ZPD

9:57 p.m. – Caller lives in a very nice neighborhood and neighbor cussed at him as he was walking into his house with a small child, he thinks his neighbor is drunk and would like to speak with an officer, 200 block Royal Oak Court, Zionsville, ZPD

3:15 p.m. – Man threatened girl and they are in van leaving parking lot, spoke with girl’s mother who said her 12-year-old daughter threw a tantrum and refused to get up from the ground and then tried to run, and mom’s boyfriend grabbed her and put her into van, 6100 block Mills Drive, Whitestown, WPD

9:20 a.m. – Dog owner admits two incidents in last three days of his dog running loose and biting someone, he realized his invisible fence was defective and has bought replacement parts plus a steel cable as a secondary mode of confinement, he was issued a citation, 12000 block Avedon Way, Zionsville, BCSO
