Applications are now being accepted for Boone County Master Gardner grants.

These grants are awarded to individuals or organizations in the county for garden projects or a project that further the purpose of the Purdue Master Gardner Program. Grant awards typically range from $100 to $250, but each grant request is considered on its own merit for full or partial funding.

Education is an important component of the Master Gardner Program’s mission and the organization requests that an educational component is included in each project. Possible suggestions include signage, plant labels, flyers, on-site interpreters, a presentation or a class project.

Grant applications are due Nov. 5. Grants will be awarded and presented in January. The final report is due within one month of the completed project. Applications are available on the website or you may contact Sharon Grebe at or 317-417-3321.
