Zionsville High School Bands will host a Drum Corps International Contest on July 1. The event in the football stadium is a fund-raiser for band programs. Money raised will help fund new marching band uniforms that will arrive in August and replace uniforms that are 10 years old.

Drum Corps International is Marching Music’s Major League. The groups participating in the event are based throughout the United States and tour during the summer.

The tour spans the country with the International World Championships concluding the season in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium on Aug. 11.

Drum Corps International was founded in 1972. The group celebrated its 45th year last summer. The member corps are made up of young adults aged 16 – 21. For more information about Drum Corps International and its member corps, go to www.dci.org.

Order tickets online or buy them the day of show at the stadium.

Please help us raise money to pay for new marching band uniforms and, at the same time, get a great, family show right here in Zionsville.
